A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you press record.

Which iPhones are supported?

DuoCam requires iOS 17 or later. Simultaneous front and rear capture requires an iPhone that supports Apple’s multi-camera capture. On other devices, the app uses a single camera.

What can I capture?

Take photos and record video with picture-in-picture, top-and-bottom, side-by-side or single-camera layouts. Choose 3:4, 9:16 or square framing. Photo quality options include 1080P and 4K; video options include 720p, 1080p and 4K at 24, 30 or 60 fps, where supported. Some options require Pro. Photos use camera capture frames; available quality and frame rates depend on your device and mode.

Does the app upload my photos?

No. The app processes captures on your device and does not upload them to our servers. Saving to Photos, device backups, iCloud Photos and sharing to another app follow your device settings and the services you choose.

What happens when I delete a capture?

Deleting in the app removes that capture and its thumbnail from the app’s library. A copy already saved to the system Photos library or shared elsewhere is kept; delete those copies in the relevant app.

Is Dual Format the same as dual-camera video?

They are different modes. Dual-camera layouts combine your front and rear views. Dual Format creates portrait and landscape crops from the same main-camera view, with an on-screen guide for the landscape crop.

What does Pro include?

Pro unlocks additional capture options, including separate photo saving and supported higher-quality modes. Available plans, features, local pricing and any trial eligibility are shown in the app before you purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple; you can restore eligible purchases in the app.
